Made in collaboration with cookbook author, lifestyle expert and fashion designer Peter Som, this blend pays homage to Peter's culinary upbringing in a Chinese-American home.
Peter says, "Each of these spice blends was inspired by the flavors I grew up with and still use to this day. Each blend is all about the balance of sweet and savory and the hits of flavor that ping pong around your mouth. The warming notes of Chinese five spice was the starting point, but from there I took things in a few different—and very delicious—directions.”
"Add this (NOT SO) SWEET seasoning to fruit crumbles, cake batters, morning cereal or buttered toast for a sassier alternative to pumpkin spice. Warm cinnamon, cloves and star anise are accentuated by real vanilla and panela sugar for deep caramel flavors, making this blend a dreamy addition to creamy lattes and chais."
Ingredients: Panela cane sugar, royal cinnamon, Nyanza vanilla, Pemba cloves, smoked star anise, Lucknow fennel, fermented white peppercorns

Use in pumpkin or apple pie
Fold into banana bread batter
