Bleached Star Pod

This beautiful dried botanical is commonly named, "Star Pod" for its multifaceted pronges.  The plant Grows in the state of Pará (Amazon) in a kind of giant wild banana tree. The botanical name for the plant is Strelitziaceae - Phenakospermun guyanesis Endl. The plant is collected manually and then dried in the sun.  Star Pods' texture makes it a great addition to any neutral home decor, coffee table display, or floral arrangement. Use it as a vase filler or combine it with other dried plants and preserved flowers for a stunning display. This product may vary in size, ranging between 12 to 16 inches in height. As a natural product, size dimensions may differ from one plant to plant.
